Biggest Challenge: I was out of town for 4 days and I have to be the first to admit that it wasn't the healthiest that I could have done, but I didn't do to bad either. I did have a few more cocktails than I normally would for an entire month, but St Louis was good to me l0l. Although eating healthy when going out of town is always a challenge, I would say fitting in some exercise is the most difficult to achieve...especially when you don't pack the gym shoes.
Favorite Meals: My favorite meal this week came from a delicious restaurant in Louisville called Palermo Viejo, an Argentinian spot...more details about this and my trip coming soon! I had the grilled salmon with chimichuri (a vinegar sauce), roasted red potatoes, this carrot and tomato salad, and a glass or two of sangria with fresh fruit soaked in cognac. De-Lish!
What I'm Most Proud Of: I'm most proud that I was able to loose the weight that I had gained despite not always having the healthiest options surrounding me. I also did better about my portion control.
Goals for the Week: This week I'm going to continue my commitment to tracking what I eat, drinking more water, and getting active to melt the weight away.
