Spring Surprises

Now for the surprise...I work on a college campus as an advisor to fraternities and sororities on top of being a full time Grad student.  I will be graduating next week and then I'll be leaving my position at the end of May.  There is one chapter that I work more closely with than others, Alpha Phi, and these are a group of women that I love to death!  They know that I'm graduating and they supervised me with a cake and basket full of goodies...I like surprises and I like goodies, l0l.  Then they did this little power point slide that they do for all of their seniors asking me about my plans and my favorite memories of Pacific and their chapter.

They let me know that I will always have a home and they assured me that I'll be missed...this a great way to start the end of the school year.

30 for 30 Remix: Week 2

For some reason this week was a little more challenging than the first.  Although this week was a little tough, I was able to add a few more items to the challenge - red suede pumps, linen wide leg trousers, and my black dress.  There were two days (12 & 13) were I had to were specific things, but I was able to make it work within the 30 for 30 Remix guidelines.  I had a hard time picking what my favorite outfit of the week was, but I went with day 8.  From head to toe it was my favorite on how it made my body look and who doesn't love sexy pumps that catch everyone's attention?!  I'm looking forward to seeing what I come up with for the next couple of weeks!

I used NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Pure Gold, NYX Cherry shadow, &

the black and gold shadows from the 120 Manly PRO Pallet.

So this week I also had some time to play around in my make-up creating a look that I've never had before.  I sometimes get frustrated trying to put eye make-up on because I can't see without my glasses and the lighting in my apartment is terrible, but I do my best to make it work.  I also had the time to paint my nails, choice of therapy.

Two Fingered Ring

So I went shopping last weekend and I got this really pretty ring at Bakers along with these cute yellow sandals, both of course were on sale. I've noticed that these are the new thing within the last year, so I hope that I'm keeping up with the rapidly changing fashion industry. I love my new ring because its fashionable and still functional. I try to do this with all items that I bring into my closet. I also want to pick pieces that are timeless and can be worn several ways.
