The Biggest Loser Inspiration

Before getting into the weigh in, I just wanted to share about some unexpected inspiration that stumbled into my life. After watching the Biggest Loser finale last night - which is not a show that I would regularly watch - I began to feel guilty.  I decided to turn that guilt into action and had my very own "Last Chance Workout" this morning before work.  Expecting to do terrible on the scale, it turns out that I had one of my best weeks ever losing almost 3 lbs.

Current Weight: 217.8
Total Weight Lost: 12

Biggest Challenge: Saying not to all the Holiday sweets and treats but I did it!  I'll have to say that tracking was also another challenge for me, but I did better than previous weeks.

Favorite Meals: My favorite meal for the week will have to be baked chicken wings with salad on the site.  I have to credit bring my lunch to work as a major factor in me doing better about this weight loss.  By doing this I not only get to save money, but I have more control over what I put in my body!

What I'm Most Proud Of: I surpassed my 5% goal of 11 lbs.  I was able to choose the better options and I'm learning more about my body and the signals that are helping me regain control.  As my WW leader would say, "It's not about the food."

Goals for the Week: Continue tracking and staying active while vacationing for three weeks. Continue drinking water and incorporating more fresh fruits and veggies into my diet.  And lastly, continue to choose the better options while I'll be away - this means taking advantage of my parents kitchen!

And who wouldn't want to work out with this man!
